BUYER’S GUIDE
Plan branded packaging without overstocking products
Product quantities and printed packaging quantities do not always need to be the same. Plan them together, but understand their different cost drivers.
Build the complete brand brief
Share your logo files, brand colors, artwork, packaging format, instruction languages and barcode requirements. Include the retail presentation you want and any carton or pallet requirements.
Approve the product and packaging separately
Confirm product color, logo placement and application method alongside the approved product sample. Review packaging dimensions, printing and assembly against a digital or physical proof. A product approval should not leave the packaging undecided.
Understand the printing quantity
A larger color-box run can sometimes improve the printing economics while keeping the initial product order small. Ask for a comparison that separates product cost, packaging cost and storage arrangements before deciding.
Plan the remaining boxes
Sinomat offers 180 days of free storage for color boxes. After that period, continued storage or a discounted purchase of the remaining boxes can be discussed. We generally recommend using the boxes within one year to reduce the risk of adhesive deterioration or color fading.
Keep version control simple
Identify the approved artwork version, language set and SKU on each packaging record. Before reordering, confirm whether instructions, claims, barcodes or product specifications have changed.
